Download DinkConnections from the App Store or Google Play and tap Sign Up. You can register with your email address or phone number. You'll be asked to add your name, date of birth, a profile photo, and a short bio. A profile photo is required to use the app, so make sure to upload one that clearly shows your face.

Go to your Profile tab, then tap on any photo slot to upload from your camera roll or take a new picture. At least one photo is required to use DinkConnections. We recommend adding several photos that show you playing pickleball, being active, or just being yourself—profiles with multiple photos get significantly more matches.

DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is the global rating system for pickleball players, ranging from 2.0 to 8.0+. Adding your DUPR rating to your profile helps you find matches at a similar skill level. To add it, go to your Profile tab, tap Edit Profile, and enter your rating in the DUPR field. If you don't know your rating, you can look it up at mydupr.com. Filtering by DUPR is available on the Basic and Premium plans.

Match Play shows you suggested partners based on your preferences, location, skill level, and interests. Swipe right to like someone, or left to pass. If you both like each other, it's a match and you can start chatting! Match Play is available to Premium members as a premium feature with enhanced partner suggestions.

When you like someone by swiping right or tapping the heart icon, they'll receive a notification. If they like you back, you'll be matched and can start a conversation. On the free Free plan you have 10 likes per day; paid plans offer unlimited likes.

Check the Liked You tab to see who's expressed interest. On the Basic and Premium plans, you can see exactly who liked you and choose whether to match. On the free plan you'll receive a notification that someone liked you, but you'll need to find them in Discover.

A Boost places your profile at the top of other users' Discover feed for 40 minutes, dramatically increasing your visibility. Basic members get 1 free Boost per week, and Premium members get 5 per week. Anyone can purchase additional Boosts for $5 each.

Once you've matched with someone, head to the Chat tab where you'll see all your matches. Tap on a match to open the conversation and send your first message. Pro tip: mention something from their profile or ask about their pickleball game to break the ice!

Yes. Open the conversation with the person you'd like to unmatch, tap the menu icon in the top-right corner, and select Unmatch. This will remove the match and delete the conversation for both of you. The other person won't be notified that you unmatched.

If someone is behaving inappropriately, you can report them by visiting their profile and tapping the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner, then selecting Report. Choose a reason for the report and add any details. Our team reviews every report and will take action as needed. Reporting is anonymous—the other person will not know you reported them.

To block someone, go to their profile or your conversation with them, tap the menu icon, and select Block. Once blocked, they won't be able to see your profile, send you messages, or appear in your Discover feed. You can manage your blocked list from Settings.

Yes. Your personal information—including your email, phone number, and exact location—is never shared with other users. Only the city and state you choose to display on your profile are visible. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. You can review our full privacy policy in the app under Settings > Privacy Policy.

Go to Settings and tap Change Password. You'll need to enter your current password followed by your new password. If you've forgotten your current password, use the Forgot Password link on the login screen to reset it via email.

Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom to find Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm. Please note that account deletion is permanent—all your matches, messages, and profile data will be removed and cannot be recovered. If you have an active subscription, make sure to cancel it through your app store before deleting your account.
